Stracey’s Fish and Chips is a family owned business run by our dedicated manager Sam Dalkins
Our shop situated in Preston, Weymouth has been serving fish and chips since the 1970’s supporting the local community as well as the Haven Seaview and Weymouth Bay caravan parks.
We pride ourselves on being a traditional local chippie serving traditional fish and chips, sorry no kebabs!
We prepare and chip our potatoes rather than using chilled or frozen chips and our fish is also cut and prepared in the shop.
We offer Gluten free & vegetarian options but please remember we are principally a fish and chip shop.

Awesome chippy. Chips are cooked fresh and fish tastes like it's just come out of the sea. Delish!!! And just a short walk from Haven holiday park
Good quality fish and chips and only a short drive from Osmington. There's no specific car park so I 'borrowed' a space behind the pub. Plenty of staff on hand behind the bar to keep the orders coming. I did have to wait a good 5-10 minutes but that was justified. It also worked out slightly cheaper than what I'd expect to pay at home!
Been buying Fish, Chips & Minted Mushy Peas from here many times for over a year now . ALWAYS TOP QUALITY , Fish are always quality, the "Minted" Mushy Peas are the best ever in the land, & the Chips good as any body's in Dorset, + always friendly staff to serve you 😍
We've had fish and chips here a few times now. Each time was excellent. Busy though probably due to location near holiday parks. Short drive to Ringstead bay from here, which is a nice place to eat.
